Summer bucket list: Go to the college World Series, move into my new home, and get a puppy!!

Can’t live without: My family, I call them 24/7 just to talk and keep in touch, they are my rocks.

Brittany Koppmann

Major: Sports and Conditioning

Favorite food: Fuego Takis or Taco Bell (#10 with no lettuce and a Baja Blast. I will literally leave and eat something else if they are out of Baja Blast though, haha)

My style: Athletic clothes or dresses! I like to be simple with my outfits, such as wearing a hot pink dress but nude shoes. If I dress up my hair is always curled… I think the southern belle side of living in Georgia DEFINITELY rubbed off on me in that aspect. If I am not dressed up my hair is in a bun and I usually have my little nerdy glasses on :) Also, if it has sparkles on it, SIGN ME UP

Fun fact: I go by ‘BK’; nobody calls me Brittany except when I am in trouble. Also, my first job was as a cashier at Burger King so my friends definitely had fun with that haha.

What do you look forward to most during your time at Southern Jewlz? Getting to know the other models and Randa better! I’m so excited to have a team of girl bosses in my life, all from different backgrounds! 

Words to live by: No matter what life throws at you, remain sweet and always do the right thing. Give the rest to God and trust in Him. This has been proven true to me time and time again! Even if I had every right in the world to get revenge on someone or do the wrong thing because it was done to me, I don’t do it. I learned that the hard way; in the end, if you have stayed sweet and loving despite the worst being done to you, people respect that and you will be blessed through that.

Summer bucket list: See as many bodies of water as possible, get cozy and read a good book during the summer rain, save money and visit my hometown! I haven’t been home in 3 years, I love Texas but I do miss everyone I grew up with.

Can’t live without: Puppies!!! No matter how old they are, I will always refer to them as puppies. Even though I don’t have one yet, just knowing that they exist and that I can pet them anytime I see one makes my life complete.  

Ashley Harris

Major: Finance with a minor in Communication

Favorite food: SMOOTHIES!!!! My favorite ones usually include a banana or peanut-butter. Every morning I have a peanut-butter AND banana smoothie, it’s so yummy! I like them so much that it is not uncommon for me to have more than one smoothie per day. I’m honestly surprised that I don’t ever get tired of drinking them. If having a balanced diet wasn’t so important I’d probably have a smoothie for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack-time.

My style: Bold, lady-like, and classic with a touch of trendy….unless you catch me at class, then I’m most likely wearing workout clothes and tennis shoes.

Favorite song: That Don’t Impress Me Much by Shania Twain. This has been one of my favorite songs for as long as I can remember! Not to mention, her cheetah print outfit in the music video for this song is super awesome…..maybe my next Halloween costume???

Fun fact: I once snow skied in a bikini to win a bet with a friend of mine. I would definitely do it again, the mountain tops are great for tanning!

What do you look forward to most during your time at Southern Jewlz? So far we have done one photoshoot and it was a blast. I loved getting to work with all of the girls, the glam squad, and Randa. I am looking forward to building friendships with each and every one of them because I don’t if I have ever met a group of so many positive, fun, and down to earth people!

Words to live by: A stylish woman once said, “keep your heels, head, and standards high.” Coco Chanel hit the nail on the head with this one. Having goals for yourself, taking pride in who you are, and of course a good pair of heels, will give you more confidence than any outside source ever could! If you don’t think so, try it!

Summer bucket list: I don’t have anything too adventurous on my summer bucket list this year. This is my last summer before graduating (sad) so I am using this time to knock out some classes and a few other necessities before I start applying for big girl jobs come the spring. I am taking a couple classes, working on obtaining my real-estate license and studying for my CFA exam. Hopefully I’ll find some down time for a beach getaway at some point!

Can’t live without: Sounds a little bit weird but H-E-B! I love my weekly visit to the grocery store every Monday, I find it so relaxing and I consider it my “me” time. I’ve made friends with all of the employees who hand out samples at my H-E-B and I look forward to tasting all the different samples each week. I really don’t know if I could ever live somewhere that doesn’t have an H-E-B because I am seriously attached to it.

Sami Burkett

Major: Biology at Texas A&M University

Favorite food: My favorite food has to be grilled cheese!!! I can literally eat it at any point in the day and it tastes delicious. The best way to make it is to blend all different types of cheddar and white cheeses together and toast the bread (but don’t forget to butter both sides before you toast it)!

My style: Cute but comfy! I love dressing up, dressing casual and pretty much anything in between. I have no preference really, but I always dress for the occasion! But no matter how I am dressing it HAS to be comfortable! I could completely fall in love with an outfit on the hanger, but if I try it on and I am not comfortable in it, it’s a deal breaker!

Favorite song: Forever Like That - Ben Rector

Fun fact: I love to bake!! I have the biggest sweet tooth and that fed my passion for baking at a young age. My grandmother lives in El Paso and she was the one who first taught me how to bake! Whenever I would visit her, we would always make tres leches! When I would go back home, her lessons helped me make so many other yummy desserts and snacks!!

What do you look forward to most during your time at Southern Jewlz? I am super excited to get to know everyone: the interns, the models and especially Randa! Being the youngest model, I have so much to learn and I wouldn’t want it to be from any other group of girls! I love that the Southern Jewlz brand promotes women to be confident not only in what they wear, but in who they are as well!

Words to live by: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6) Throughout the last 9 months of my life I have been faced with many difficult and unforeseen events that have greatly impacted me. This is where God’s word and especially this verse became so present in my life. I learned to take life day by day and give all my worries, sadness and fears to God. I learned He will take care of me, He will make my paths right, and He will forever walk by my side as long as I put my trust in Him.

Summer bucket list: This summer I just hope to spend as much time as possible with my hometown friends! I have had the same group of girls in my life for a long time. This summer will be the last time we will all get to hang out and make memories together before we go our separate ways and start our college lives. 

Can’t live without: Definitely my sister!! She is my other half. I don’t know how I am going to live without her next year!

Breanna Skrhak

Major:Double major. Clinical Psychology and Sociology at Texas A&M University

Favorite food: My Meemaw's ( grandmothers) angel food cake! Growing up every time I visited my grandparents i begged my grandmother for this sweet treat. I now have the recipe and can’t wait to make it for myself more often and my future family.

My style: Fun, effortless, and flirty. I love dressing up but  I also live in athletic clothes so typically I don’t have a happy medium. I am either in heels with hair and makeup done or I’m in shorts and a tank top with absolutely no makeup on and in a hat. I actually prefer not wearing makeup everyday because growing up I was a HUGE tomboy so “dressing up” with my hair and makeup done wasn’t always my thing!!

Fun fact: I LOVE fishing. Like I stated previously I grew up a huge tomboy so anything outdoors including basketball, golf, fishing, hunting, or running... COUNT ME IN! I’m a HUGE morning person ( I don’t even have to have coffee!!! it is insane how hyper I am in the morning). I love cooking!! Also every morning and every evening no matter where I am, who I am with or whatever the circumstance I will completely drop everything I am doing to catch the sunrise and sunset.. I love watching the sky! I also write everyday! 

What do you look forward to most during your time at Southern Jewlz? I have had the pleasure of working with Randa now for years and I can say that every year is a new adventure. I love meeting the new models, seeing the new clothes, and watching the success of the business. I also love modeling for Southern Jewlz because it constantly gives me confidence while encouraging other women which is amazing!

Words to live by: “May I never forget the good things He has done for me”  Psalm 103:2. Throughout my life I have been constantly reminded of the good things God has done for me. No matter how big the mountain in front of me was, no matter how big the burden, how bad the day, somehow someway God always reminded me of everything He has done for me. Everyday when I wake up... I wake up blessed and happy. I love my relationship with God and I love the way He loves me.

Summer bucket list: Travel more. Read a few books. Make new friendships. Adventure often

Chloe Turner

Major: Howdy! I am currently a senior at Texas A&M University (Whoop!) My major is Agricultural Leadership and my minor is sports management.

Favorite food: My favorite food is crawfish. I can’t believe there is only one season for it. I could eat it for every meal. Although, If someone was to offer me lobster, I wouldn’t turn it down! Just don’t forget the 0 calorie butter (or real butter either one is fine) (okay fine give me the real butter)!

My style: My style is based off of my idol. Elle Woods. I love anything pink and sparkly. I never grew out of that stage where I was “obsessed with pink” I’m actually still in it. I love turquoise as well. Being a girlfriend of a cowboy, I can either wear my boots to a rodeo, or wear a designer dress to dinner. I honestly will try anything.

Favorite song: This is an extremely hard question. There are too many good songs out there. I love “Run” by George Strait. When I am feeling the 90’s I will listen to NSYNC or Backstreet Boys. I am also a Justin Beiber fan- so I guess really any of his songs.. Kenny Chesney is also a favorite of mine.

Fun fact: I have a couple of fun facts… I date a steer wrestler named Cade Goodman, I am an officer of the Texas Aggie Rodeo Team, When I was 13, Kenny Chesney picked me up on stage (gave me his guitar), took me back-stage and my family and I back to our hotel. I am also a Delta Gamma!

What do you look forward to most during your time at Southern Jewlz? I look forward to many things. I look forward to getting to basically learn from my mentor Randa Carrabba. I would love to someday be as successful as she is. I also look forward to working with the other models. Each model is so amazing in their own way. Everyone has their own look and style. Most importantly, they are all so sweet. I am so blessed to get to hang out with pretty people with pretty hearts! Shout out to the interns that are behind the scenes making everything happen. They do more than anyone realizes! I also look forward to wearing the amazing clothes by Southern Jewlz. When I wear Southern Jewlz clothes I feel unstoppable.

Words to live by: “You can always tell who the strong women are, they are the ones building each other up instead of tearing each other down.” 27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Therefore, love yourself! Never compare yourself to others, you were created for your own path!  

Summer bucket list: I am actually about to head to the College National Finals with my sweet boyfriend! I also just ordered my Aggie Bling! When I get back, I am going to vacation in Cabo! I would love to get closer to the other models, the interns, and Randa.. And Bucky the Bulldog. I would really like my dog Pattycake to go on a date with Bucky.

Can’t live without: I can’t live without my chihuahua Pattycake and my horse Boomer. Pattycake was there through all the middle school dances where I got rejected by boys. She was there through my braces, green eyeshadow, and burnout tee stage. On a more serious note, I can’t live without my family, my friends, and Jesus Christ.
