Howdy all you SJ Fans and Followers! This blog post actually isn't going to be anything about SJ, but a shout out to one of my best friend's new company that she recently launched. Let's start with a picture:
Yes, that is what we call a "Ring Wrap" and the company was recently founded by one of my best friends - Miss Emily Huskinson. If you follow my blog, you will know about Emily as she has modeled for SJ before, I blogged about her Ring Dunk and she went with me to Vegas this past December for my first trip ever to the NFR. Anyways - Emily recently launched her company which can be founded online for now at www.ring-wraps.com. As stated from her "About the Company" page online:
Emily Huskinson '12
President & Founder of College Ring Wraps ™
Emily Huskinson '12 started the company after deciding that she wanted to add some “bling” to her beloved Aggie Ring. She wanted to make hers unique to enhance the tradition of the Aggie ring, so she approached Lyles-DeGrazier out of Dallas, Texas to custom make a set of diamond encrusted bands to fit perfectly around both sides of her Aggie Ring.
Scott Polk '84, Aggie football letterman, President of Lyles-DeGrazier, learned of her idea and convinced her that this idea had enormous potential to become popular in Aggieland. Emily was hesitant at first to the idea of turning this idea into a business simply because she wanted to be the only girl with this dazzling addition to her ring. Scott’s undaunted enthusiasm and ideas about manufacturing this ring for all Aggies to enjoy proved to be too much for Emily to resist. Since that fateful meeting, they have not looked back and have partnered together to develop a superior fine jewelry product that meets and exceeds the expectations of women who want to add sparkle in a classy way to their Aggie ring.
I still remember the very first time Emily told me about her business venture. There was NEVER a doubt in my mind that she would turn it into a reality. Many people have ideas, but those like Emily are the ones that make it happen! I have personally watched her over the last 10 months cover every single detail needed to make this company exist - from production meetings to photo shoots, never ending emails with graphic designers and postal services, patents and legal issues, Emily has done it all! Being able to watch Emily through this journey is something that is extremely special to me. Ring Wraps is obviously geared towards the Aggie Ring - as Emily is a student at Texas A&M University and lives in College Station, however, any college ring can be wrapped with a pair of custom made diamond ring wraps, each containing .3 carat total weight. Custom orders are also welcome.
As I have previously stated, Ring Wraps is currently only welcoming online orders at www.ring-wraps.com. Be sure to "like" Ring Wraps on Facebook and follow them on twitter @ringwraps. If you're a pinterest addict - add a Ring Wrap pic to one of your boards! And if you want to see this high quality, oh so to-die-for product in person - plan to come to the SJ Boutique on Saturday March 31 during Parents Weekend for the first ever Ring Wrap trunk show! We will be serving Miranda Lambert wine and oohing and awing over these divine diamond wraps. Business hours that day are the same as always, 11am-7pm.
Emily's first Ring Wrap sale was to an avid SJ customer! Here is the review she left online, "Looking at the pictures of the Ring Wrap, they are absolutely gorgeous. As a new product, you might have concerns that the product could possibly have flaws, there ISN'T. I received mine so quickly, without one thing to complain about. It is absolutely perfect, and it is the perfect addition to my Aggie Ring. It fits perfectly and adds the perfect sparkle. Not only is the ring wrap itself amazing, but the customer service i received was exceptional. The president herself responded to my emails promptly and was extremely helpful during the process. I think everyone needs to order a ring wrap to make it the most recent Aggie Tradition!!! :) "-Tabitha Hiller
Now I have PROUDLY been wearing my Ring Wrap since Friday, March 2nd and I could not even tell you the amount of compliments I have received. Even though my Aggie ring is now wrapped with .6 carats of beautiful diamonds that glisten and shine, by far the BEST part about it is the friendship that lies behind it. Emily is not only a truly special friend - but she is a fellow entrepreneur that inspires me and so many others. She is just as beautiful on the inside as on the outside and she challenges my faith in Jesus Christ every time we have a heart to heart. I can talk to her about business, life, friendships, boys, goals, future vacations destinations, etc. My Ring Wraps and friendship with Emily is one of my most prized possessions in my life. So be sure to check out her absolutely stunning website at www.ring-wraps.com or plan to join us on Saturday March 31.
Here is a picture of my very own Ring Wrap:
And here is a picture of Emily and I in Vegas this past December! She's one of my biggest cheerleaders! So excited for the future of her business :)
Until the next time you hear from me - be sure to be the most FABULOUS you that you can be!
A recent verse I've been trying to live by: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. Colossians 3:23-24
